Zendaya Could Reportedly Play Ariel in Disney’s Live-Action “The Little Mermaid”
Rumors are circulating that Zendaya has reportedly been offered the role of Ariel in Disney’s upcoming live-action version of the 1989 animated classic.
It’s unclear whether the Spider-Man: Homecoming star actually wants to be part of Disney’s world, since Zendaya’s reps have declined to comment on the speculation.
Regardless of who plays the titular rebellious mermaid, the film is slated to be directed by Mary Poppins Returns’s Rob Marshall, with music by Hamilton’s master lyricist Lin-Manuel Miranda and Disney heavy-hitter Alan Menken.
As for potential castmates if Zendaya were to play Ariel, Elle speculated that, because the Disney alum is a woman of color, the role of Ariel’s father, King Triton, as well as those of her sisters and undersea pals, would likely be played by actors of color, for a more-inclusive adaptation all around.

Currently I have a paradoxical opinion about it :

I’m disappointed that they don’t take a red-haired actress to play the Little Mermaid because Ariel is THE red-haired Disney princess ! (I don’t know Merida, sorry)

But on the other hand, Zendaya is beautiful, she is one of my favorite celebrities, she will be beautiful as a Mermaid, and it’s certain that the movie will be beautiful thanks to her presence !

…so, why not ?!

In the bookmark of Justine, everybody noticed Ramona Badwolf, but nobody noticed RYWAND SEACURSED ?! I mean : He is the son of the Sea Witch !!! So : A NEW BOY ’w’ ! ! !

I’m really sure of that because the etymologies of his name are : [Ry]“wand” (like “wizard’s wand” *-* !) and “SEA-cursed” (a big evidence *_* !) - also in the bookmark his job is talent scout, I think this job is perfect for the descendant of the Sea Witch - if he wants to find a pretty voice… of mermaid… you know…

…Ok until now we believed that the descendant of the Sea Witch was Coral Witch… but maybe Coral was changed by Rywand ? (like “Witchy Brew” was changed by Ginger Breadhouse, you know..) - or she is his little sister…

But personally if Coral was really changed by Rywand, I will be not really sad because there are too many girls at EAH, so if we got a new man, I will be hugely happy ^w^ ! (And I totally ship him with Meeshell right now *-* ! Imagine how cute it could be a romance between the Heroine and the Villain.. ♥.♥)

Anyway, if he was mentioned in the bookmark of Justine it’s means he will maybe appear soon on the show and also in the new waves of basics with Ramona… I just can’t wait for him *^* ♥
