I like to think that Cupid can’t fly because she’s originally from the MH universe. Like if Faybelle went to MH, she wouldn’t be able to fly there because different universes and rules. That’s my headcanon anyway.

Well it could very well be that her wings are just for decoration, it’s a nod to her Adoptive father Eros … or Cupid ( for those who don’t know Cupid is the Roman version of the Greek God of Love Eros)

Your theories could be great but in each time she appears in the book it is said she flies, so I’m absolutely agree with this confession : WHY - she has WINGS - BUT - in the show animated - she NEVER fly x.x’ ?! I can’t accept her wings are just for decoration (even if her wings are beautiful, especially outspread ♥.♥), what’s the point of having wings if she never fly - in - the - show ?!

A wheelchaired mermaids body is an able body. The only reason she’d be in a wheelchair is because she shouldn’t be out of water but if you put her back where she belongs she’s perfectly capable of all movement. There’s no magical pool that I can jump in to fix my cerebral palsy. It’s insulting to actual disabled people to say that’d be representation. Put Raven in a wheelchair, or Apple or any human character. Actually make a disabled character, don’t turn the need for a wheelchair into a cute quirk.

I don’t really wanted Meeshell in a wheelchair, so I’m glad she isn’t but I want a great explanation on the fact Meeshell is on Earth and she has legs AND a voice… it’s totally against her tale, if she has the both on Earth she doesn’t have a story anymore, so maybe if she was in mermaid form in a wheelchair with her voice it could be more…right with her tale, or I don’t know in human form but without voice ? (a character who speaks with the sign language could be kinda great too..)

Mattel seriously has to give to us big explanations about Meeshell’s existence…

Like, excuse me her parents die, she spends years abused by her step-mother who then sends someone to try and kill her and after that she has to spend an undisclosed amount of time in hiding fearing for her life. Then she has to actually get poisoned and go into a sleep like death. None or that will be EASY! Stop acting like her story is sugar and sunshine, please!

I completely agree… even if we know that Apple has “The Most Beautiful Destiny and blablablah Happily Ever After”, her story is not the most easy, and I really think Apple is actually a very brave character and I love her optimism :’) ♥

I’m sorry dear fans, but I don’t know more BORING than the COMPLAINTS ABOUT SKIN COLOR. FUCK ! If you talk about skin colors, this mean that skin colors bother you, AND THUS, you are not tolerant, AND THUS : You are racists ! I HATE racists ! Stop shouting “Oooh but this girl is not white !” “Oooh but this girl is not black”, “I want more POC !” BLAH - BLAH - and BLAH.

It’s a LUCK to have already colorful characters on the serie like Cedar Wood, Ginger Breadhouse, and the new character : Justine Dancer. (and also the other colorful backgrounders^^)

I don’t understand why the complaints, there are lot of colorful characters at EAH, not just “whites” or “blacks” but characters of various countries ! (for exemple Duchess as an euro-asian, the Beauty cousins as latinas, and the Snow Queen’s daughter is an Inuit !)

I think it’s obvious that Mattel tries to internationalize the fairy tales^^’

And I’m sure that it can have more colorful people later in the series, but PLEASE, stop complaints about color of skins, IT’S BO-RING. And I don’t know more boring, because it’s totally racist !
