I think that Briar’s a Royal because of the same reason why Maddie’s a Rebel. Maddie likes her destiny, but is a Rebel because she wants to side with the Rebels, believing that people should be able to choose their own destinies. Briar’s situation is somewhat the same. I think Briar isn’t really happy with her destiny, but is a Royal because she wants to side with the Royals, believing that people should follow their destines (which also explains why she wants to live her life to the fullest).

♥ Briar is Royal, BUT sleep for 100 years knowing that her friends will die scares him.
♥ Ashlynn is Royal, BUT threatens to become Rebel if she can’t be with Hunter.
♥ And Lizzie is a Royal, BUT doesn’t want to be as tyrannical as her mother again later.
I think Cedar’s curse is stupid. Why would she be cursed to not lie if part her destiny IS to lie? And she WANTS to lie no less! Why is she a rebel anyway? She will get her happy ever after when she turns into a normal girl (that’s her dream).
I don’t understand why Cedar is a Rebels me too, I think it’s like Maddie : They are not really Rebels(because they have a Happily Ever After), but they support their Rebels friends.
It’s a matter of point of view.
