I feel like Disney tries to forget some of their movies as if they never existed, and as if Kida isn’t a Disney Princess too… that such a shame. Atlantis is so better than Sleeping Beauty for exemple… Kida deserves more appreciations !
She will probably never have a Disney Designer doll, so I made it (again) ! Ready for the Premiere of his movie ;) !
And to celebrate it, I want to make this appreciation post for Barbie, by showing you my very first Barbie doll :
💙 Barbie as Susan Storm, the Invisible Woman 🖤(from Fantastic Four)
I know it may seem strange that my first Barbie is so “atypical”, and I know that I give a very “barbic” image of myself… It’s true that I love pink, but I’ve never loved Barbie so far (I prefer the dolls of the Disney Princesses) …until now !
The reason why my first Barbie doll is a Susan Storm’s one is because I had a little articulated figurine of Susan Storm in my childhood, and I played so much with her, but I didn’t know that Mattel had made a Susan Storm’s Barbie doll…
I just absolutely needed it :’) ! In my eyes it’s as if my little articulated figurine of Susan Storm has transformed into a Barbie doll !
So here is my first Barbie doll, she is not the prettiest, but she is very symbolic for me :3

And today I love Barbie better, because Barbie today seems so feminist, and less utopian, I love the fact that there are a billion different Barbies, with different nationalities, different bodies, different trades (not just trades “of women ”), I also loooooooove all her clothes, they are all so luxurious, so trendy …
Barbie is truly a Role Model for the new generations of Women ! (not just the little girls, because YEAH you can be an adult and love Barbie, look at me, I didn’t like Barbie in the past and now I love her !)
Bref, love or don’t love Barbie, but she is the Dolls Queen and a real Feminist Model, she is 60 today, but I hope she will stay alive forever, thanks to us 💖

I wanted so much Tiana from the new Disney Designer Premiere Series ! Not only because she is my favorite in this collection (she is so styliiiish *°*) but also because in this outfit… Tiana reminds me an outfit of my mother 🖤
Yep, my mother is Black, but I hate to say “black” I prefer to say “Chocolated” because the notion of “Black” exists only because the notion of “White” exists… …except for Black Panther of course ! And I need a doll of him too…)
So this is not only a doll of Tiana, this is the Gorgeousest Doll of a Chocolated woman I’ve seen and got in my entire life, and I’m very very very happy and proud to got her, this is super Symbolic for me 💖
I’m just a little sad that I received the doll, but with her bag broken… but whatever ! I will fix it and once fixed, it will make me an pretext to post more photos of my gorgeous doll :D

My best friend gave me Kida’s doll at Christmas, it cost him a fortune but it touches me so much… not even my parents would spend as much just to make me happy… I feel so lucky to have a Best Friend like him

And so, to start this New Year, I really wanted to make this Appreciation Post for Kida, because she clearly deserved to be part of the Disney Princesses !
Atlantis is a legend that Disney has beautifully managed to adapt as a film, but it’s also a very mature film that honestly I didn’t like when I was child but now I like it precisely because it’s a mature film ! (like the Hunchback of Notre Dame)
And I love Kida’s personality, she is so curious, brave, open-minded, and…
BADASS ! …I feel like, Kida should be 100% a Disney Princess because she is absolutely like Mulan, a Model for the new generation of little girls !
Kida is a Princess, from Disney who became a Queen at the end of her movie, so if this useless Aurora is a Disney Princess I don’t understand why Kida isn’t ?!
I think the only reasons why Kida is not a official Disney Princess is because her movie is…not really for children and also because she doesn’t sing .-. …and it’s so a shame.
But whatever ! At least it exists a doll of her and it’s already great !

I always wanted a French Disney Princess in my collection, but event if I think Belle and Cinderella are very admirable french girls…I think their personnalities are a bit…boring ? So I think Esmeralda is the best French Disney Princess I could have got !
Ok she isn’t a real Disney
Princess, but I think Esmeralda is so much ! Esmeralda is a Symbol of Egality, Diversity, Tolerance, Liberty and :
…all these notions are what France is supposed to represents, and Esmeralda perfectly represents all these notions !
Seeing Esmeralda makes me proud to be French. I love also the fact Esmeralda is French, but she doesn’t look like physically like what-people-think-a-true-French-is (white). I think Esmeralda is more French than Cinderella, and she is also more a Disney Princess than Aurora.
“Disney Princesses” should’nt mean “I’m a rich girl from Disney with a big dress in a big palace” but “I’m a powerful girl with a great personnality from Disney !”
Bref, I’m happy to be French, happy that Disney (and Victor Hugo) created Esmeralda, and happy to have her doll now :3 💜 🇫🇷

Today I achieved a new Fan-of-the-Little-Mermaid-goal : Make her perfect doll !
It’s my Best Friend who offered me my Ariel’s doll, and she is absolutely the Best Gift I could receive in my life !
I had a first doll of Ariel in my childhood… but my mother threw it… and it was also a gift from a friend… but since then, I had a blockage preventing me - for years - from buying another one… I don’t know how to explain it, I just…couldn’t did it myself…
…But now I’m an adult and I can buy everything I’ve been deprived !
So, for my precious new Ariel’s doll, I gave her a Made To Move body, the hyper rare but so accurate bra from my first Ariel’s doll, and the Must Have : that amazing, colorful, and sparkling tail from the recent Little Mermaid’s singing doll of Disneystore ! (I’m also hyper happy that my doll has a Disneystore’s face because I consider Disneystore as THE official Disney brand, and it is !)
I’m very very veryyyy Happy now, you can’t imagine how, because doing that perfect Ariel’s doll was one of my first Life Goal :’) ! I don’t care about the “Ariel’s Disney Designer - expensive - dolls” I have my doll and I don’t want another !

Please tell me I’m not the only one who remember Gabriella, the deaf and mute mermaid from the Little Mermaid series ? Gabriella is not just a great character, she is a Amazing, Gorgeous - and - great character ! You all need to know her !
I cannot believe we’re still tearing Cinderella down! 2018 only has a few months left and we’re still doing this, we’re still painting her as the weakest Disney princess and we’re still painting her weakness as a bad thing?
Why?
Why are people so caught up on bashing this princess?
“The movie is so simplistic—”
In what way is it possibly simplistic?!
“She didn’t work hard—”
YES, SHE DID!
“Well, okay, but the fairy godmother still had to come in—”
Yep, I remember the movie too, and the countless stories on which it’s based.
“So the fairy godmother was the one who caused the happily ever after.”
She sure was, now, what’s your point?
No, really, what’s your point? Is the point that Cinderella is somehow weak because she wasn’t 100% in control of her own life? Seems like a pretty disgusting opinion to have when the whole movie is about an abuse victim finding a way out of her horrible situation. So Cinderella wasn’t the one who got herself out. So what? Instead of looking the movie at its bare surface, maybe try analyzing it with a bit more thought and tact. You might see something a little different. A magical transformation, if you will.
Because Cinderella did work hard.
And guess what we learned from that?
You can work
and work
and work
And there will still be people out there who will try to tear you apart:
Literally.
And that sucks. It’s a horrible lesson to learn but it is something we will all face in our lifetimes. There will always be people who will try to tear us down, there will always be people who will try to rip us apart, until we’re in a low place:
Until it seems like there’s no hope…
Until it seems like you’re too weak to get out on your own…
And maybe you are.
Maybe you are too weak to get out on your own. Maybe you’re not the strongest woman in the world. Maybe you’re not capable of screaming at the top of your lungs or brandishing a weapon or throwing a punch. Maybe you’re not able to get out of something on your own. Cinderella is the story about an abuse victim who is unable to get out of her toxic situation by herself and just when she begins to lose all hope, is able to get help from an unlikely source. It’s the story about a girl who needs help getting to her happily ever after and that’s okay.
Give us advocates:
They deserve their happily ever afters!
Give us warriors:
They deserve their happily ever afters!
Give us fighters:
They deserve their happily ever afters!
Give us girls who are not advocates, girls who are not warriors, girls who are not fighters, girls who still deserves their happily ever afters:

~This is an Appreciation Post for Pocahontas~

I was at Disneyland Paris recently, but I was so shocked by the fact there is NO doll of Pocahontas in the ENTIRE Disneyland Paris park.
That’s shocking because in France there are some Disneystores so we can buy a doll of Pocahontas on these little Disney-stores but not at the Disney-land… I have to share it because they seriously have to do a update of the Disney Princesses dolls at Disneyland Paris - WITH Pocahontas.
…And so when I returned home, I decided to go to a Disneystore to buy a Pocahontas doll. However, although I don’t like Hasbro’s Disney Princesses dolls (because they are not articulated, and there faces are scary), Pocahontas had a very gorgeous dress in the penultimate collection that Hasbro had made, so I bought a Pocahontas’ Disneystore doll and a Pocahontas’ Hasbro doll to make a mix of both, and I really like the result !
Look at these gorgeous boots and that beautiful belt, with that’s so detailed, shiny, and colorful dress ! Pocahontas is not supposed to have a so detailed outfit with boots and a belt, but look what Hasbro did ! All the other Disney Princesses by Hasbro are uglies, but Pocahontas is the Beautifulest !
I think this Pocahontas’ outfit by Hasbro really looks like a Disney Designer dress … but in less expensive :’) !
To finish, I also want to share that I realized that Pocahontas is not and has never been an Indian Princess. Pocahontas is a Native American Princess. Say that she is “Indian” is very insulting in fact. So if you like Pocahontas remember that : She is the Native American Disney Princess !
She deserve a appreciation post. And I have not regret.
