I am SICK AND TIRED of people acting like Apples destiny is so easy, and acting like she’s spoiled because it won’t be hard or something. Like, excuse me her parents die, she spends years abused by her step-mother who then sends someone to try and kill her and after that she has to spend an undisclosed amount of time in hiding fearing for her life. Then she has to actually get poisoned and go into a sleep like death. None or that will be EASY! Stop acting like her story is sugar and sunshine, please!

I completely agree… even if we know that Apple has “The Most Beautiful Destiny and blablablah Happily Ever After”, her story is not the most easy, and I really think Apple is actually a very brave character and I love her optimism :’) ♥

But that could be taken away from her because Raven didn't sign the Storybook of Legends, so she's trying to get that back. I think the same ! Apple has until now lived a “perfect” life with the Most Beautiful Destiny for her Happily Ever After, it’s a big luck for her, and I think it’s somewhat normal that she wants everything to be perfect to realize her Great Destiny. So she is not very selfish, she just wants to fulfil her Destiny, as the Most Royal and Proud person that she is.
Moreover, Apple is maybe the Most Hated character in the fandom, but at Ever After High she is the character who makes the most efforts for the good of everyone. And Raven is not in as Apple, she only cares about her life but she doesn’t have real purpose to her life.

Finally I think that as Apple as Raven have a bit of selfishness in their personnalities, but both are not bad characters, just more or less understood by some and not others.
