I shouldn't have to buy a book to expect character development from characters just because the animated series refuses to do it. This is what I hate most about kids shows these days. That they only exist to put dolls on the selves. The dolls are nice and seeing them in action are cool too, but it's the characters that makes the shows what they are, right? Seeing their development and having an actual character OUTSIDE their stereotypes is what I want, not for Duchess to COMPLETELY change.
