Apple and the Evil Queen

I’m glad that we get to see some of the aftermath to the Royal/Rebel conflict, specifically about Apple dealing with the security of her destiny being gone. Having the knowledge that she could always rely on a happy, pre-determined fate was an enormous comfort for Apple, and she was raised to always strive for it. Ultimately, in WtW, she accepted that destroying the Storybook of Legends was the right thing to do, but that doesn’t mean she won’t have second thoughts, won’t be tempted to fall back on old desires, and the Evil Queen takes advantage of that. She also takes advantage of Apple’s insecurity that she’s not enough like her mother, something that could really help to push Apple’s development.

Exactly, my thoughts! I also wonder what makes Apple suddenly doubt her decision she made in wtw. It does look like there was a conflict before this scene…

Something else I wanted to mention. The movements and facial expressions are so amazing… you feel like you can almost read Apple’s mind. (I mean the facial expressions are always great, but it’s just that we have never seen Apple so emotional…this moment really gives me the goose bumps)

We don’t often see Apple angry. I’m glad. (soon Cupidona too ? oh gosh I will love to see her angry *-* …but she is not on Dragon Games. u_û)
