Mattel: Ever After High: Equality For Both Genders - Where Not Only Princesses Are Powerful
2016, the year of many changes, for the Toy Company Mattel. Not only are they giving their most famous brand "Monster High" a whole new reboot, no, they also thought of creating a brand new campaign for their newest brand Ever After High (brought out in 2013). "Where Princesses Are Powerful" should apparently encourage girls (6-8 years old) that they are able to be a hero in their own story. It sure is great message for them, but we must not forget that Ever After High build a huge fanbase of girls AND BOYS in the past three years. The old campaign "Are you a Royal or a Rebel - Choose your own Ever After" attracted boys and girls of all ages; from children to adults. The message that you can create your own life, whether good or bad, young or old, boy or girl. This IS Ever After High, or sadly was. Boys can play with dolls too, they can also write their own stories, be a prince, huntsman, whatever they would like to be. Mattel should go a step further and should cease to treat their male characters such as decorations, love interests or otherwise. Princesses Are Powerful, but Princes too! Please give us loyal fans, equality for both genders! - In other words, stay true to your campaign in the first place. Please sign this petition and bring (back, if we can say so?!) Equality for both genders, Princesses AND PRINCES. Thank you >3 #WhereNotOnlyPrincessesArePowerful
