Okay, but Brook Page maybe? Brook’s parents are really divided over the Royals and Rebels, but the silver and gold jewelry could represent her interest in them both. (Gold=royals, silver=rebels.) It could also explain the library/reading room environment she’s in. Otherwise, her generic outfit doesn’t tell us much. Her belt reminds me a lot of Darling’s armor. And though I find the clothes disappointing, I’m all for more brown dolls.

I like this explanation much better!

My initial thought was actually Brooke.

I was hoping Brooke would have a book theme to her outfit, but I like the idea of a generic outfit for Brooke more than for Amber. I still think she’s probably Amber though, but hopefully we’ll find out with certainty soon!

This is clearly Amber, the only thing her hands are touching are GOLD. How did everyone miss this?

teatime-with-maddie

People have been saying that in plenty of other posts. I’ve mentioned multiple times that the accessories by her hands are gold hinting that what she touches turns to gold. Other people have said the same.

However, if she is Amber it’s disappointing that nothing else about her outfit takes inspiration from her story and that there is no Greek or Phrygian theme to her dress to point to the origin of her story. Since Cupid has a Greco-Roman thing going on with her outfit it would have been nice if they kept that going with other Greek myths that are included.

Also, if everything she touches turns to gold, how does she get dressed without touching any of her other clothes? Gold gloves would have been a better way to show this. She puts them on first and then the other things she touches don’t turn.

I really think she is Amber because of her gold accessories around the hands. BUT you said that it’s strange that she has not a “greek or phrygrian” style, but you forget some other mythological characters of Mattel like Iris Clops, Manny Tor, or Casta Fierce, who don’t have either a mythological style too..

but I would prefer that she has special gloves to avoid turning things into gold, because How can we explain the way how she dresses and the fact that her clothes don’t turn into gold ?
Seriously, I think that if she is Amber Midas (I’m not sure but there are more elements which relates to her) I find her design a bit disappointing… even if she is cute. (she seems more as a backgrounder by her clothes which evoke nothing concrete x.x)

Those are Monster High. Different line, different designer, more modern fashions. In EAH the one Greek myth character we have so far (Cupid) does have Greco-Roman themes to her both her signature and Thronecoming outfit (TTW not so much) so I was hoping that theme would continue.

Someone pointed out elsewhere that in 12 dancing princesses the gold and silver theme would still work because of the silver, gold, and diamond (anyone see any diamonds anywhere?) trees that they pass and that the soldier breaks branches from as proof of his story. I still think she’s Amber, but Justine is definitely a possibility.

Different line, but the same mark… so we can’t forget the links…

But I really don’t think that she is Justine Dancer, by the only reason that she doesn’t have Dance shoes. The shoes are important in the tale of the Twelve Dancing Princesses….and she doesn’t have a dancer style too, so  I think that we can completely abandon the idea of Justine Dancer^^
