Maddie likes her destiny, but is a Rebel because she wants to side with the Rebels, believing that people should be able to choose their own destinies. Briar’s situation is somewhat the same. I think Briar isn’t really happy with her destiny, but is a Royal because she wants to side with the Royals, believing that people should follow their destines (which also explains why she wants to live her life to the fullest).

I don’t understand why Cedar is a Rebels me too, I think it’s like Maddie : They are not really Rebels(because they have a Happily Ever After), but they support their Rebels friends.

Frozen AU: Ever After High

Anna and Elsa are the daughters of Kai and the Snow Queen. No one knows that the two fairy tale characters fell in love, and the girls are not told of their mother. One day, when they’re young, Elsa uses her magic and accidentally hurts Anna. Kai, realizing Elsa’s destiny is to be like her mother, separates the girls, having Anna’s memory of the incident erased and sending Elsa off to live with and learn from the Snow Queen.

Anna grows up missing her older sister, having no idea why she left her alone. She readies herself to take her father’s role as Kai, while having no idea who the Snow Queen who will eventually whisk her away is. 

Elsa grows up lonely and sad in her mother’s ice palace. She is reluctant to use her powers and hurt people (especially her beloved sister) again. When she enters high school, she keeps her head down and doesn’t make friends, ignoring or avoiding her sister whenever she sees her.
